Message	for most non-bose speakers. I pulled the boxes and tested my Alpine Type-R's in my livingroom. They sounded good in the boxes but they didn't have much low-end. And in free-air they had more bass but they were really sloppy. I think the stock bose system actually sounded better....When it worked, that is. Whatever, I'll redo it again when I have the time & money.
